Muharram

An excerpt from Imam Sadiq (A.S)’s prayer on the Day of Ashura:

اللَّهُمَّ وَأَهْلِكْ مَنْ جَعَلَ قَتْلَ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ نَبِيِّكَ عِيداً وَاسْتَهَلَّ فَرَحاً وَسُرُوراً وَخُذْ آخِرَهُمْ بِمَا أَخَذْتَ بِهِ أَوَّلَهم

O’ Allah, and destroy the one who made the day of killing the Prophet’s Household (P.B.U.T) the day of his Eid (feast day) and considered joy and happiness to be lawful in this day and doom their last one as You doomed and destroyed their first.
