- Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H&HF): Whenever one of you is needy and brings that to other people, he will not be satisfied. and Whenever someone is needy and brings that to Lord, he shall give him what he wants. sooner or later.
- Imam Sadiq (As.): Whenever you had tenderness in your heart, Pray. because your heart doesn't get tender unless it's pure.
- I told to Imam Baqir (A.S): “What is the meaning of “truly, Ibrahim was awwah and patient”? He replied: “Awwah means (the one who is) praying (to) and wailing (for God) a lot.””
- “Two people, who have acted alike, enter the heaven, but one of them sees the other one in a higher place. Then, he says: O’ Lord! How come has he a superior place in comparison to me while we acted alike? God the Almighty replies: “because he asked Me (whatever he needed) and you did not do that”.
- “The most knowledgeable person to God is the one who asks more from Him”
- “Whoever prays a lot, the angels say: This voice is familiar (to us) and this is the supplication which is accepted and this is the need which is provided”
-
The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his Household):
-
If you knew god the way you should’ve known, Mountains definitely will be moved by your supplications. - Crying out of fear of God is the key to his mercy, it’s a sign for his acceptance and it’s a door to answering [supplications]
- Pray to God and believe in his answeres. But understand that God won't accept prays from an unwitting oblivious heart.
Prophetic Supplications: Radd-e-Mazalim
Radd-e-Mazalim
(It is an estimated amount paid on behalf of people who have rights on us but due to impossibility of paying in person as the person might have died or reaching him/her is impossible, and the amount must be given to the poor people.)
This supplication is for 'Radd-e-Mazalim' that the Angel Gabriel taught to the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him and his household) and said: 'O Mohammad! Whoever has a ‘mazlamah’ (the duty on us related to the monetary rights of others) against him and cannot compensate it to the concerned person or pay a penance, he/she should recite this supplication so that Allah forgives them and makes the concerned person satisfied with them. The supplication is as follows:
O Light of the heavens and the earth, and O Helper of those who seek help, and O Protector of those who seek refuge, all needs are fulfilled through You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You for the many grievances I have committed against Your servants. O Allah, if any servant of Yours, whether man or woman, has been wronged by me in their soul, honor, wealth, family, children, or if I have backbitten him or held a grudge against him with bias, desire, arrogance, zeal, hypocrisy, or tribalism, whether they were present or absent, living or dead, and my hands have been tied and my means limited in returning it to them and absolving myself from it, therefore, I ask You, O You who holds all needs while they are responded by His decree and are swift to His command, to send blessings upon Mohammad and the family of Mohammad, and to please him regarding me with whatever You wish of the treasures of Your mercy. Then grant it (Your mercy) to me from Yourself, for Your forgiveness does not diminish You, and Your gift does not harm You. My Lord, honor me with Your mercy and do not disgrace me due to my sins; indeed, You are All-Encompassing in forgiveness, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
