- Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H&HF): Whenever one of you is needy and brings that to other people, he will not be satisfied. and Whenever someone is needy and brings that to Lord, he shall give him what he wants. sooner or later.
- Imam Sadiq (As.): Whenever you had tenderness in your heart, Pray. because your heart doesn't get tender unless it's pure.
- I told to Imam Baqir (A.S): “What is the meaning of “truly, Ibrahim was awwah and patient”? He replied: “Awwah means (the one who is) praying (to) and wailing (for God) a lot.””
- “Two people, who have acted alike, enter the heaven, but one of them sees the other one in a higher place. Then, he says: O’ Lord! How come has he a superior place in comparison to me while we acted alike? God the Almighty replies: “because he asked Me (whatever he needed) and you did not do that”.
- “The most knowledgeable person to God is the one who asks more from Him”
- “Whoever prays a lot, the angels say: This voice is familiar (to us) and this is the supplication which is accepted and this is the need which is provided”
-
The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his Household):
-
If you knew god the way you should’ve known, Mountains definitely will be moved by your supplications. - Crying out of fear of God is the key to his mercy, it’s a sign for his acceptance and it’s a door to answering [supplications]
- Pray to God and believe in his answeres. But understand that God won't accept prays from an unwitting oblivious heart.
Prophetic Supplications: Yastasheer Supplication
Yastasheer Supplication
It is narrated by a line of narrators from Imam Ja'far ibn Mohammad al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, from his father, from his grandfather, from Amir al-Mu'minin (The Commander of the Believers] Ali ibn Abi Talib, may the blessings of Allah be upon him and his pure, virtuous and chosen offsprings and may countless peace be upon them, who said:
The Messenger of Allah, may the blessings of Allah be upon him and his household, taught me this supplication and commanded me to preserve/recite it in every hour, in hardship and ease, and to teach it to my successor after me. And he commanded me not to part with it for the duration of my life until I meet Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, with this supplication. And he stated to me: "You shall recite this supplication in the morning and evening, for it is a treasure from the treasures of the Throne."
I said: "What shall I say?" He said: "Recite this supplication which I am about to explain the reward for." When the Prophet (peace be upon him and his household) finished, Ubayy ibn Ka'b al-Ansari asked him: "O Messenger of Allah, what is the reward and merit for the one who supplicates with this supplication?" The Prophet (peace be upon him and his household) stated to him: "Be calm/quiet, O Ubayy ibn Ka'b al-Ansari, for the speech of the scholars cannot encompass the reward that the owner of this supplication has with Allah, the Mighty and Majestic."
He (Ubayy) said: "May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, explain to us and tell us what is the reward of this supplication?" The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his household) smiled and said: "Indeed, the son of Adam is keen for what is forbidden for him. I will now inform you of some of the rewards of this supplication. As for its owner, when he supplicates to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, goodness descends upon him from the top of his head to the earth, and Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, sends down tranquility upon him and he is enveloped in mercy, and this supplication has no limit until it reaches the Throne of the Lord of the worlds. It has a buzzing around the Throne like the buzzing of bees. Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, looks at the one who supplicates with this supplication, and whoever supplicates with it three times, does not ask Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, for anything good in this world and the Hereafter except that Allah will grant him his request through this supplication and bestow it upon him."
O son of Adam, and Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will save him from the punishment of the grave and avert from him the constriction of the chest. And when the Day of Resurrection comes, the owner of this supplication will come on a white pearl mount, and he will stand before the Lord of the worlds, and Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, will command for all honor to be given to him and say: "My servant, take your abode in Paradise wherever you wish," along with what he has with Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, of additional honor and dignity that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and has not occurred to the hearts of the created beings or the tongues of the describers.
Salman al-Farsi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "O Messenger of Allah, add more to us about the reward of this supplication." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Yes, O Aba Abdillah, and by the One who sent me as a Prophet with the truth, if this supplication was recited over a madman, he would be cured from his madness in that moment. And if it was recited over a woman who is having difficulty in childbirth, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, would ease the delivery of her child faster than the blink of an eye."
Yes, O Salman, and by the One who sent me as Prophet with the truth, there is no servant who supplicates to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, with this supplication for forty consecutive Friday nights, except that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, forgives him what is between him and the people and what is between him and his Lord. And by the One who sent me as Prophet with the truth, O Salman, there is no one who supplicates to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, with this supplication except that Allah removes from his heart the sorrows and worries and illnesses of this world.
Yes, O Salman, whoever supplicates to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, with this supplication, whether he performs it well or not, then sleeps on his bed intending the hope of its reward, for each letter of this supplication, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will send down [to him] a thousand angels from the Cherubim, their faces more beautiful than the sun and the full moon.
Salman said: "Does Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, give this servant all this reward for this supplication?" The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Do not inform the people about it until I inform you of something greater than what I have already informed you about." Salman said: "O Messenger of Allah, why do you command me to conceal this?" The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his household) said: "I fear that they will abandon the deeds and rely only on the supplication."
He (Salman), then, said: "Inform me, O Messenger of Allah." He (the Prophet) said: "Yes, I will inform you, O Salman. Whoever supplicates with this supplication and in his lifetime has committed major sins, then if he dies on that same night or day after supplicating with this supplication, he dies a martyr. And if he dies, O Sulayman, without repentance, Allah will forgive his sins out of His generosity and forgiveness." And that supplication is this supplication that you should say:
In the name of Allah, the Absolute Merciful to all creatures, the Most Merciful to the believers.
Absolute-Praise be to Allah, the One who has no deity except Him, the Sovereign, the Truth, the Evident, the Administrator without asking for consultation of any minister and any creature from His servants. The First, without being described, and the Everlasting after the annihilation of creation. The Great in Lordship, the Light of the heavens and the earths, and their Creator and Originator of both without pillars which He created both, and the earths settled by the support of their pegs above the water. Then our Lord rose over the highest heavens, the Most Merciful, established on the Throne. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth and whatever is between them and whatever is under the soil.
So I bear witness that indeed, You are Allah. No one can raise what You have placed down, and no one can place down what You have raised. No one can honor whom You have humiliated, and no one can humiliate whom You have honored. No one can prevent what You have given, and no one can give what You have prevented. And You are Allah, there is no deity except You. You were when there was no constructed heaven, no spread-out earth, no shining sun, no dark night, no illuminating day, no deep sea, no firm mountain, no moving star, no shining moon, no wind to blow, no cloud to pour [rain], no lightning to flash, no spirit to breathe, no bird to fly, no fire to kindle, and no water to flow. You were before everything, and You created everything, and You have power over everything, and You originated everything, and You enrich and impoverish, and You give life and cause death, and You make laugh and make weep, and You are established on the Throne. So blessed are You, O Allah, and Exalted.

The Protector of the weak, the Treasure of the poor, the Reliever of the distressed, the Helper of the righteous.
