- Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H&HF): Whenever one of you is needy and brings that to other people, he will not be satisfied. and Whenever someone is needy and brings that to Lord, he shall give him what he wants. sooner or later.
- Imam Sadiq (As.): Whenever you had tenderness in your heart, Pray. because your heart doesn't get tender unless it's pure.
- I told to Imam Baqir (A.S): “What is the meaning of “truly, Ibrahim was awwah and patient”? He replied: “Awwah means (the one who is) praying (to) and wailing (for God) a lot.””
- “Two people, who have acted alike, enter the heaven, but one of them sees the other one in a higher place. Then, he says: O’ Lord! How come has he a superior place in comparison to me while we acted alike? God the Almighty replies: “because he asked Me (whatever he needed) and you did not do that”.
- “The most knowledgeable person to God is the one who asks more from Him”
- “Whoever prays a lot, the angels say: This voice is familiar (to us) and this is the supplication which is accepted and this is the need which is provided”
-
The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his Household):
-
If you knew god the way you should’ve known, Mountains definitely will be moved by your supplications. - Crying out of fear of God is the key to his mercy, it’s a sign for his acceptance and it’s a door to answering [supplications]
- Pray to God and believe in his answeres. But understand that God won't accept prays from an unwitting oblivious heart.
To Request His Mercy, Blessings, Paradise, Kindness, Acceptance, Guardianship, and Fulfillment.
O Mohammad, and whoever from your nation loves My mercy, and My blessings, and My paradise, and My compassion, and My acceptance, and My guardianship, and My response, he should say when the sun sets or the night departs:
O our Lord, to You is all the praise, its entirety and its details, as You have praised Yourself to those whom You have created for it. O Allah, our Lord, to You is the praise, a praise just as those whom You are pleased with for their gratitude for Your blessings, praise You. O Allah, our Lord, to You is the praise, as You are pleased with it for Yourself, and You have decreed it upon Your servants, a praise that is desired by those who fear You for Your Majesty, and feared by those who have might in You for Your Grandeur, and witnessed by those who receive bounty from You for Your Beneficence. Glory be to You, Majestic in a station where the eyes of the onlookers are bewildered, and their intellects are confounded from attaining the knowledge of its Grandeur. Blessed are You in all Your Sublime Abodes, and Sanctified are You in the Favors in which You are the Worthy of Greatness. There is no deity except You, the Greatest, the Most Great. For annihilation, You created us, and You are the Eternal for Subsistence, so You do not perish, and we do not remain, and You are the Knower of us, and we are the people of might in You, and of negligence of Your affair, and You are the One who does not slumber nor sleep. By Your right, O my Master, protect me from the diversion of what You have bestowed upon me in religion and in the world, in the days of this world, O Generous!
Indeed, when he says that, I suffice him with all that which suffices my righteous, praising, and grateful servants.
