Blessing Of Allah

Imam Sadiq (A.S) said: it has been mentioned in the Book of Amir al-Muminin (the Commander of the Faithful): “Praising and worshiping is before the request. Thus, whenever you name God the Almighty, the Glorious before asking (for something), praise Him.

Muhammad bin Muslem said: “I asked the Imam: how shall I praise Him? And he replied: you say”

يَا مَنْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيَّ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ  يَا فَعَّالًا لِما يُرِيد يَا مَنْ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ يَا مَنْ هُوَ بِالْمَنْظَرِ الْأَعْلَى يَا مَنْ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ.

O who is nearer to me than my jugular vein, O doer of what He desires, O who intervenes between a man and his heart, O who is in the exalted scenery, O who is nothing like Him.
