- Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H&HF): Whenever one of you is needy and brings that to other people, he will not be satisfied. and Whenever someone is needy and brings that to Lord, he shall give him what he wants. sooner or later.
- Imam Sadiq (As.): Whenever you had tenderness in your heart, Pray. because your heart doesn't get tender unless it's pure.
- I told to Imam Baqir (A.S): “What is the meaning of “truly, Ibrahim was awwah and patient”? He replied: “Awwah means (the one who is) praying (to) and wailing (for God) a lot.””
- “Two people, who have acted alike, enter the heaven, but one of them sees the other one in a higher place. Then, he says: O’ Lord! How come has he a superior place in comparison to me while we acted alike? God the Almighty replies: “because he asked Me (whatever he needed) and you did not do that”.
- “The most knowledgeable person to God is the one who asks more from Him”
- “Whoever prays a lot, the angels say: This voice is familiar (to us) and this is the supplication which is accepted and this is the need which is provided”

The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his Household):

وَ لَوْ عَرَفْتُمُ اللَّهَ حَقَّ مَعْرِفَتِهِ لَزَالَتِ الْجِبَالُ بِدُعَائِكُم
If you knew god the way you should’ve known, Mountains definitely will be moved by your supplications. - Crying out of fear of God is the key to his mercy, it’s a sign for his acceptance and it’s a door to answering [supplications]
- Pray to God and believe in his answeres. But understand that God won't accept prays from an unwitting oblivious heart.

For Pressing Need to be Fulfilled
O Mohammad, and whoever has a pressing need that has not reached me or anyone else, he should call me in the depths of the night, alone, and say while in a state of purity [Wudu; ablution, and if the supplicant is a woman, she should not be at the time of menstruation]:
يَا اللَّهُ مَا أَجِدُ أَحَداً إِلَّا وَ أَنْتَ رَجَاؤُهُ وَ مِنْ أَرْجَى خَلْقِكَ لَكَ أَنَا يَا اللَّهُ وَ لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ إِلَّا وَ هُوَ وَاثِقٌ وَ مِنْ أَوْثَقِ خَلْقِكَ بِكَ أَنَا يَا اللَّهُ وَ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ إِلَّا وَ هُوَ لَكَ فِي حَاجَتِهِ مُعْتَمَدٌ وَ فِي طَلِبَتِهِ سَائِلٌ وَ مِنْ أَلْحَفِهِمْ سُؤَالًا لَكَ أَنَا وَ مِنْ أَشَدِّهِمْ اعْتِمَاداً لَكَ أَنَا لِأَنِّي أَمْسَيْتُ شَدِيداً ثِقَتِي فِي طَلِبَتِي إِلَيْكَ وَ هِيَ كَذَا وَ كَذَا وَ سَمِّهَا فَإِنَّكَ إِنْ قَضَيْتَهَا قُضِيَتْ وَ إِنْ لَمْ تَقْضِهَا لَمْ تُقْضَ أَبَداً وَ قَدْ لَزِمَنِي مِنَ الْأَمْرِ مَا لَا بُدَّ لِي مِنْهَا فَلِذَلِكَ طَلَبْتُ إِلَيْكَ يَا مُنْفِذَ أَحْكَامِهِ بِإِمْضَائِهَا صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ امْضِ قَضَاءَ حَاجَتِي هَذِهِ بِإِثْبَاتِكَهَا فِي غُيُوبِ الْإِجَابَةِ حَتَّى تَقْلِبَنِي بِهَا مُنْجِحاً حَيْثُ كَانَتْ تَغْلِبُ لِي فِيهَا أَهْوَاءُ جَمِيعِ عِبَادِكَ وَ امْنُنْ عَلَيَّ بِإِمْضَائِهَا وَ تَيْسِيرِهَا وَ نَجَاحِهَا فَيَسِّرْهَا لِي فَإِنِّي مُضْطَرٌّ إِلَى قَضَائِهَا وَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ ذَلِكَ فَاكْشِفْ مَا بِي مِنَ الضُّرِّ بِحَقِّكَ الَّذِي تَقْضِي بِهِ مَا تُرِيدُ
O Allah! I do not find anyone except You as their hope, and of Your creation, I am the most hopeful in You. O Allah! And there is nothing from Your creation except that it is trusting, and of Your creation, I am the most trusting in You. O Allah! And there is no one from Your creation except that he is relying on You for his need, and asking You in his request, and of them, I am the most insistent in my request to You, and of them, I am the strongest in relying on You, for I have become intensely trusting in my request to You, and it is such and such (then mention the request), for if You fulfill it, it will be fulfilled, and if You do not fulfill it, it will never be fulfilled. And there has become incumbent upon me from the matter that which I have no choice but for it (i.e., the request), so for that reason I have requested from You, O Implementer of His decrees, by establishing it. Bless Mohammad and the family of Mohammad, and implement the fulfillment of this need of mine by establishing it in the hidden (realms) of response, until You make me successful in it, where the desires of all Your servants prevail for my benefit in it. And confer upon me by executing it, and facilitating it, and its success, so facilitate it for me, for I am compelled to its fulfillment, and You already know that. So, remove the distress that is in me, with Your right by which You fulfill whatever You intend.
فَإِنَّهُ إِذَا قَالَ ذَلِكَ قَضَيْتُ حَاجَتَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَزُولَ فَلْيُطِبْ بِذَلِكَ نَفْسَهُ
For indeed, as he says that, I surely, fulfill his need before he departs, so he should be pleased with that.
