Prayer when Recitation of Marriage Formula

Ask God for blessing when recitating the marriage formula!

Imam al-Riḍa (a) always said when reciting marriage formula,

«الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ إِجْلاَلاً لِقُدْرَتِهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ خُضُوعاً لِعِزَّتِهِ وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ عِنْدَ ذِكْرِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ مِنَ الْمَاءِ بَشَراً فَجَعَلَهُ نَسَباً وَصِهْراً وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيراً.»

“All praise belongs to God, reverence for His power, and there is no god but God, in submission to His Might and God’s blessings be upon Muhammad (a) and his family upon mentioning him; surly, God created human being from water, then granted him with ties of blood and marriage, and your Lord is All-Powerful.”
