- I told to Imam Baqir (A.S): “What is the meaning of “truly, Ibrahim was awwah and patient”? He replied: “Awwah means (the one who is) praying (to) and wailing (for God) a lot.””
- “Two people, who have acted alike, enter the heaven, but one of them sees the other one in a higher place. Then, he says: O’ Lord! How come has he a superior place in comparison to me while we acted alike? God the Almighty replies: “because he asked Me (whatever he needed) and you did not do that”.
- “The most knowledgeable person to God is the one who asks more from Him”
- “Whoever prays a lot, the angels say: this voice is familiar (to us) and this is the prayer which is accepted and this is the need which is provided”
- “There is no servant who goes to a land and opens their hands and praises God and prays, unless God fills the land with his rewards, whether it is vast or tiny”
- If you knew god the way you should’ve known, Mountains definitely will be moved by your prayers.
- Crying out of fear of god is the key to his mercy, it’s a sign for his acceptance and it’s a door to answering (your prayers)
- Pray to god and believe in his answeres. But understand that god wont accept prays from an unwitting oblivious heart.
Ziarat Of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra (As)
While standing in the area between the Holy Prophet’s tomb and minbar (i.e. Garden of Paradise – Rawzah), you may visit the tomb of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (A).
There is disagreement about the place of the tomb of Lady Fatimah (A); some say that she was buried in the Rawzah. Others say that she was buried at her house. Others say that she was buried in the Baqi` Cemetery.
However, the majority of our scholars agree that she must be visited from the Rawzah, although to visit her at these three places is more preferable.
When you stand for the ziarat of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra’s (A) tomb, you may say the following:
O carefully examined (lady): Allah Who created you had tried you before He created you (for this worldly life), and thus He found you successfully enduring in that trial. We claim being loyalists to you, believers in you, and tolerant as regards all that which has been conveyed to us by your father, peace of Allah be upon him and his Household, and all that which his Successor has brought to us. We, thus, ask you, if we have really believed you, that you may include us with those who believe in both of them (i.e. the Holy Prophet and Imam Ali), so that we may feel happy that we have been purified on account of our loyalty to you.
It is recommended to add the following:

I bear witness that you have spent your life with full awareness of your duty towards your Lord and (I bear witness) that he who pleases you will have pleased the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household, and he who displeases you will have displeased the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household, and he who harms you will have harmed the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household, and he who respects you will have respected the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household, and he who disrespects you will have disrespected the messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his Household. This is because you are an inseparable part of him (i.e. the Holy Prophet), and you are his soul with which he lives. I ask Allah, His Messengers, and His angels to be the witnesses that I am verily pleased with him whomever you accept, I am displeased with him whomever you detest, I disavow him whomever you disavow, I am loyal to him whomever you support, I am the enemy of him whomever you betake as enemy, I am hateful to him whomever you hate, and I like him whomever you like. Verily, Allah is Sufficient as Witness, Reckoner, Punisher, and Rewarder.
You may then invoke almighty Allah's blessing upon the holy prophet and imams.
