- Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H&HF): Whenever one of you is needy and brings that to other people, he will not be satisfied. and Whenever someone is needy and brings that to Lord, he shall give him what he wants. sooner or later.
- Imam Sadiq (As.): Whenever you had tenderness in your heart, Pray. because your heart doesn't get tender unless it's pure.
- I told to Imam Baqir (A.S): “What is the meaning of “truly, Ibrahim was awwah and patient”? He replied: “Awwah means (the one who is) praying (to) and wailing (for God) a lot.””
- “Two people, who have acted alike, enter the heaven, but one of them sees the other one in a higher place. Then, he says: O’ Lord! How come has he a superior place in comparison to me while we acted alike? God the Almighty replies: “because he asked Me (whatever he needed) and you did not do that”.
- “The most knowledgeable person to God is the one who asks more from Him”
- “Whoever prays a lot, the angels say: This voice is familiar (to us) and this is the supplication which is accepted and this is the need which is provided”
-
The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his Household):
-
If you knew god the way you should’ve known, Mountains definitely will be moved by your supplications. - Crying out of fear of God is the key to his mercy, it’s a sign for his acceptance and it’s a door to answering [supplications]
- Pray to God and believe in his answeres. But understand that God won't accept prays from an unwitting oblivious heart.
For Pressing Need to be Fulfilled
O, Muhammad! Whosoever has a wish [and keeps it hidden from everyone] should call and invoke Me in midnight, with a clean and purified body and say this Prayer:
O Extinguisher of lights by His light, and O Preventer of sights from seeing Him, and O Bewilderer of hearts in His affair! Verily, You are Pure, Purifier, purifying by Your purity whomever You have purified thereby, and there is none more in need of Your purification of him than I, for my religion, my body, and my heart. So, in whatever state I have been, deviating from You in obedience and desire, then oblige me, even if I dislike the love of obeying You, by the right of the station of Your Majesty from You, until I attain the virtue of purity from You for all my affairs. My Lord, bless Mohammad and the family of Mohammad, and make what has been purified by Your purity upon my body a purification of goodness, until by which You purify from me what I conceal in my chest and hide within myself. And keep me, whether I love it or dislike it, upon that, and make my love following Your love, and occupy me with myself to the exclusion of all besides You with an occupation in which the work of obedience to You is lasting, and distract others from me for my safety from myself and from all of the created beings.
For indeed, when he says that, I oblige him with the love of my beloveds and the dislike of my enemies, and I suffice him with all that which suffices my righteous servants.
