To be Relieved from All Kinds of Calamities

O Mohammad, whoever is afflicted with a calamity in himself, his religion, his world, his family, or his wealth, and loves its relief, he should invoke me and say:

O You Graceful upon the people of patience by You surrounding them with tranquility and comfort through Your obedience. There is no power or strength except with You. A calamity has afflicted me, testing me and exhausting me with ways to escape from it, and greed has compelled me to seek refuge with You, with good hope in You. So, I fled to You with my soul, and I turned to You because of my distress, and I implored You because I am perishing, so help me and alleviate my calamity, and relieve me of its distress by your mercy. Bring patience upon me in it, for if you leave me to what I am in, I would perish, and there would be no patience for me. O You, the one whose name encompasses all magnificent matters by your right! Aid me in the removal of my calamity from me, O Generous One!

When he says that, I inspire him with patience, encircle him with gratitude, and relieve him of his affliction by mending it.
